The Noni plant blossoms in virgin lands, generally near the sea; it transforms into a tree and grows up to 10 to 20 feet high. It bears fruit all year round, and the flowers are white. The fruit is approximately 8 cm in diameter, from yellow to white; the pulp brown and dense. It is considered to be one of the most nutritious fruits and its nutrients are known to stimulate the immune system. It is also a strong anti-oxidant and an analgesic. Noni juice has anti-inflammatory properties and it’s an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic. Compounds like anthraquinones, terpenes and scopoletin are effective against bacteria and fungus.
